Henry ThomasHenry Thomas , is best known to movie audiences for starring as Elliott, the 10 year old boy who befriends a lost little alien in Steven Spielberg's "E.T.," one of the most successful movies of all time.

Most recently, Thomas has appeared in the comic thriller "Suicide Kings," "Fever," "Hijacking Hollywood" and "Good Baby."

He will next be seen in Martin Scorsese's "The Gangs of New York" with Leonardo DiCaprio and Cameron Diaz. Other forthcoming projects include the thriller "Dead in the Water" and "The Quickie" with Jennifer Jason Leigh.

Thomas's film credits also include "Misunderstood," "Cloak & Dagger," "The Quest," "Valmont," "Fire in the Sky," "Curse of the Starving Class," "Niagra, Niagra" and "Bomb Shell." He co-starred with Brad Pitt and Anthony Hopkins in "Legends of the Fall." As a child actor, Henry Thomas made his debut in Jack Fisk's "Raggedy Man."

On television, Thomas ha appeared in HBO's "Indictment: The McMartin Trial," TNT's "Riders of the Purple Sage" and USA Network's "Moby Dick." Most recently he starred in the telefilm "The Happy Face Murders" with Ann Margaret.
