Biography

Sean Daniel is a partner with Jim Jacks in Alphaville Productions. Their company is currentky producing Rat Race (2001), directed by Jerry Zucker, Scorpion King, The (2001)), directed by Chuck Russell,Hunted, The (2001) directed by William Friedkin and Plague Season, The (2002), directed by Ron Shelton. He received a bachelor of Fine Arts from the Californian Institute of the Arts and begun his career with Universal Pictures in 1976 as an assistamt. Two years later, he was promoted to vice president of production. Between 1976 and mid 1989, he served as president of production for the motion picture group. During this time he supervised such ilms as National Lampoon's Animal House 1978)(, Coal Miner's Daughter (1980), Missing (1982), Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982), Breakfast Club, The (1985), Fletch (1985) and Do The Right Thing (1989).
Daniel has been a participant in the debate about media and culture, appearing in The New York Times and as a guest on the McLaughlin Group, and NBC News.
