Biography

PIPPA CROSS (PRODUCER) worked as production executive on Jim Sheridan's first two features, MY LEFT FOOT (1989) and FIELD, THE (1990) for Granada before being appointed their Head of Film. She produced Tim Sullivan's JACK AND SARAH (1995), starring Richard E Grant and Anthony Hopkins' directorial debut, AUGUST. She executive produced Julian Jarrold's BAFTA-nominated television drama SOME KIND OF LIFE, as well as GIRLS' NIGHT (1998) starring Julie Walters and Brenda Blethyn, ROGUE TRADER (1999), starring Ewan McGregor.
More recently, she executive produced ESSEX BOYS (2000) starring Sean Bean, Charlie Creed-Miles and Alex Kingston, Terence Davies' highly-acclaimed HOUSE OF MIRTH, THE (2000) starring Gillian Anderson, and GHOSTWORLD, from John Malkovich's company mr mudd which reteams her with HOLE, THE (2001) star Thora Birch. She also executive produced television mini-series LONGITUDE written and directed by Charles Sturridge for Channel 4 and produced SEEING RED for ITV. Cross is currently working on Paul Greengrass’s BLOODY SUNDAY.
