Biography

GRAHAM KING is President and CEO of Initial Entertainment Group (IEG), one of the leading independent film companies which finances, produces and distributes motion pictures for the worldwide market. King, who founded IEG in 1995, is a specialist in film marketing and international distribution as well as a producer in his own right.

A U.K. native, King began his career at the studio level when he moved to the United States in 1982 and joined the international distribution department at Twentieth Century Fox. Under the guidance of industry veteran William Saunders, King honed his skills as a dealmaker in the arena of international film and television distribution.

In 1987, he moved from Fox to Cori Films, a Los Angeles-based international sales company, where he continued to widen his knowledge of the international market. After spending five years with Cori Films, King left to join Kings Road before forming IEG.
