A long time supporter of the DIY (Do It Yourself) lifestyle, Dodge is an award winning solo performer who wrote and directed a critically acclaimed series of experimental theater pieces. Among them Muddy Little River and From Where I’m Sitting I can only reach your ass, which was commissioned by New Langton Arts.
She co-founded San Francisco’s performance space The Bearded Lady which won The San Francisco Guardian’s Best of the Bay Awards for Spoken Word in 1994 and 1995. Dodge has done numerous national tours with Sister Spit’s Road Show and is featured on two spoken word CDs, one of which was released on Mercury records.
