Biography

JOHN LEE HANCOCK, a former attorney turned writer/producer, has brought to life a range of projects as eclectic as his own past.

Among other television projects, Hancock wrote and executive produced the CBS drama L.A. Doctors and executive produced the CBS pilot Falcone. In the realm of theater, he served as a member of Fountainhead Theater Company and, with Brandon Lee, founded the Legal Aliens Theater Company in Los Angeles.

A native of Longview, Texas, Hancock obtained his B.A. in English from Baylor University and his J.D. from Baylor University Law School. He served for four years as an attorney with Houston-based Sowell & Ogg before segueing into entertainment as a production coordinator, location scout and assistant director for numerous productions.
