Tommy Lee JonesBorn in San Saba, Texas, Jones worked briefly with his father in the oil fields before leaving for Harvard University where he graduated cum laude in English.

Academy Award-winner TOMMY LEE JONES was awarded the Best Supporting Actor Oscar and the Golden Globe Award for his uncompromising portrayal of U.S. Marshal Sam Gerard in the box office hit Fugitive, The (1993). Three years previous, Jones received his first Oscar nomination for his portrayal of Clay Shaw in Oliver Stone's JFK (1991).
