Harrison Ford Broke His Leg On Star Wars Set.

After sustaining an injury on the ‘Star Wars VII’ set, Harrison Ford has been confirmed to have suffered a broken leg.

It looks as though early reports of Harrison Ford’s ‘Star Wars' leg injury have turned out to be fairly accurate after Ford's publicist has confirmed the actor suffered from a broken leg… and has been receiving treatment for the injury over the past week.

According to The Wrap, Harrison Ford’s publicist confirms that his left leg was broken in the injury he suffered while shooting ‘Star Wars VII’.

"Harrison’s left leg was broken in the accident," said his rep. "His surgery was successful and he will begin rehab shortly. He’s doing well and looks forward to returning to work."

Of course, details surrounding the injury are still rather scarce… but it’s assumed that he was injured in an accident involving a hydraulic door - some reports indicating that it was a door on the Millennium Falcon which was responsible for the incident.

After being airlifted to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, Ford has been receiving treatment for the last week. But where does this leave ‘Star Wars VII’?

It’s been speculated by close family members that Ford will be able to return to work shortly… his own son explaining that they can shoot certain scenes from the waist up.
