Wolf of Wall Street to be delayed?

Martin Scorsese isn't one to bow to deadline pressure.

His cuts are legendarily long, and it looks like his latest 'The Wolf of Wall Street' is to be no exception.

Though there's been no official word yet, it's being reported that Paramount, the studio releasing the Leonardo DiCaprio-fronted film, may have to bump it from its proposed November 15 release date because it's not finished.

Rumours abound that the film is currently nearly three hours long, and that for release it needs to be much more like two hours.

If it does get delayed, it may well mean that it would miss the race for the 2013 Oscars.

Scorsese's previous film, the noir thriller 'Shutter Island', suffered a similar fate, originally planned for release in 2009, but then pushed to early 2010.

Whenever it finally emerges, it's among the most hotly-anticipated films of the year.
