Daniel Radcliffe: I want to die on film set.

Daniel Radcliffe has said he will work until he dies to make a name for himself away from the ‘Harry Potter’ series.

In an interview with Out magazine, the 23 year-old said: “I've always said that it's a long process, and in a way it may be a lifelong one."

''It's about proving to people that I'm in this for the long haul, and that I wasn't just looking to get as famous as I could for as long as I could and ride that out. I love almost every aspect of this industry and I want to be in it, and if I could drop dead on a film set at 80, that's how I'd want to go.''

Radcliffe’s, who’s more recent credits include horror ‘The Woman In Black’, and upcoming beat generation crime drama ‘Kill Your Darlings’, also said he has trouble watching his Potter performances.

''I certainly wouldn't watch number three, I wouldn't watch the first two, I wouldn't watch four. I might watch five. I definitely wouldn't watch six.''

In 2007 Radcliffe famously performed nude for Peter Shaffer’s play ‘Equus’, in a daring effort to shake off typecasting… and his clothes. The play then went on to a successful Broadway run, earning the former child star a Drama Desk Award nomination in 2009.
