Actor Tom Sizemore has been arrested in Los Angeles on an outstanding warrant related to a 2007 drug case.

The 47-year-old star was arrested with an unnamed man in the Hollywood Hills after officers encountered them while responding to a unrelated call.

A police officer said the other man was arrested on a drug possession charge, while Sizemore was only booked.

The actor, whose movies include Heat and Saving Private Ryan, has since been released from custody.

Sizemore was given three years' probation following an arrest in May 2007 in Bakersfield on seven drug-related counts.
