Ray Winstone has signed up to appear in the fourth Indiana Jones film.

He is thought to have been lined up to play Harrison Ford's sidekick, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Cate Blanchett will also be in the as-yet-untitled movie, which is scheduled to start filming in June.

The worldwide release date is pencilled in for May 22, 2008.
