Charlize Theron has agreed to star in Ferris Wheel.

The film will also star Woody Harrelson, Dennis Hopper and Deborra-Lee Furness.

The drama follows an 11-year-old girl's struggle to come to terms with her mother's abandonment.

Filming begins in Canada in November, reports Variety.
