Author J.K Rowling has revealed that at least two characters will die in the seventh book, but gave no clue as to who would end up meeting their maker.
In a Channel 4 interview, she explained the last chapter was written long ago and added:"The final chapter is hidden away, although it's now changed very slightly... One character got a reprieve, but I have to say two die that I didn't intend to die."
Then why kill them, JK?
When asked to give a bit more detail, she said: "No, I'm not going to commit myself, because I don't want the hate mail or anything else."
I suppose we can see her point.
But who could the unfortunates be? Hermione, Ron, Malfoy, Hagrid... Harry? We shudder to think.
There will obviously be a rush when the new title hits the bookshelves.
But try not to skip ahead to the ending and spoil your fun.
