Gwyneth Paltrow is reportedly pregnant with her second child.

The actress already has a 16-month-old daughter Apple with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin.

Her mother Blythe Danner accidentally announced the new arrival at an award ceremony in Hollywood.

According to IOL.com, when asked whether she was going to be a grandmother again she said: "Yes, I am. Well, I think so. Oh, well I have not checked lately."

A source close to the couple said: "Gwyneth is trying to contain her excitement about having another child, but she's incredibly happy."
