Pitt's family bachelor pads

Brad Pitt has transformed his two bachelor pads into child-friendly family homes, to impress girlfriend Angelina Jolie.

The Hollywood actor was reportedly so keen to help his beautiful girlfriend settle into his Malibu mansion that he spent thousands of dollars making it safe for her two adopted children, Maddox, four, and baby Zahara.

Pitt, who split from wife Jennifer Aniston in January, has installed safety locks on doors and cabinets, fridge latches, covers on plug sockets and had all of his glass coffee tables and metal furniture put in storage.

His home in Santa Barbra has been given the same treatment.

A source said: "Angelina's delighted at how Brad has slipped into the role of doting dad so easily."

Meanwhile, Angelina has landed a role in a £50 million blockbuster - playing the Queen of Darkness.

The beautiful actress will star in an animated film adaptation of the bloodthirsty epic, 'Beowulf', alongside British actors Anthony Hopkins and Ray Winstone.

Director, Robert Zemeckis, said: "'Beowulf' is a timeless, epic tale of heroism and triumph. Digital rendering will allow us to depict this incredible story in ways we would never have dared imagine."
