Nicole Kidman has revealed she is taking a break from films to spend time with her children.

The actress has appeared in eight films in the last two years and has a further four in the pipeline this year and she says she's ready for a break.

According to IMDb.com she said: "You won't see me for a long time. It could be a year, it could be two. I'm not going to give you my holiday schedule, but there'll be a few. It'll be a while before I come back."

Nicole is currently filming Fur in New York.
