Nicole Kidman is spending her spare time in Australia in the kitchen.

Nicole's film Eucalyptus was cancelled indefinitely last month due to script problems.

She has taken advantage of the spare time by learning to cook reports Contactmusic.com.

She said: "I can do lamb shanks and home-made gnocchi. It's wonderful to be able to go to the fish markets and choose your dinner."
