Nicole Kidman is desperate to become pregnant.

The actress, who has two adopted children, Isabella and Connor, with ex-husband Tom Cruise, has revealed she would love to have a baby of her own before she gets too old to conceive.

She said: "I'm not pregnant but I would love to be. That's the kind of thing I hope happens at some stage before I get old."

However, the 37-year-old Oscar winner - who tragically suffered a miscarriage when she split from Tom in 2001 - wants to find another husband first reports Femalefirst quoting Closer magazine.

Nicole, who recently enjoyed a dinner date with Liz Hurley's ex Steve Bing, said: "I would love to be married again. I'm still a huge believer in marriage.

"I like being married and I like having a family. I think there's something lovely about raising a child together."
