Brody now linked with King Kong

Adrien Brody is the latest star to be linked with a major role in Peter Jackson's King Kong.

Variety says the Oscar winning star of The Pianist is in talks with Universal Pictures to join the cast.

He's been offered the role of Jack Driscoll, the love interest for archaeologist Ann Darrow, to be played by Naomi Watts.

Earlier this week, it was announced that Jack Black will play showman Carl Denham who brings the giant gorilla to New York City.

If Brody accepts the part, all of the major roles will have been cast for the film.
