The marriage of Sadie Frost and Jude Law is set to be formally ended at London's divorce courts.

The actress is expected to be granted a decree nisi under the "quickie" uncontested divorce procedure.

Frost, 35, and 30-year-old Law, one of Britain's most successful Hollywood stars, have three children.

The couple, who married in September 1997, separated at the beginning of this year and Law moved out of their north London home.

Frost said in August: "I have come very reluctantly to the decision that my marriage to Jude is over.

"We have agreed that a divorce is the only way forward, but we have equally agreed that we will do everything in our power to make certain that this is as painless a process as possible for the benefit of the children."

"They are our number one priority and have always been so and will remain so."

Frost also has a son from her first marriage to the former Spandau Ballet pop star Gary Kemp.

The divorce is listed for "pronouncement of decree under the special procedure" before District Judge Redgrave at the High Court Family Division in central London.

Their divorce - Frost SL v Law DJH - is 14th in a list of 30 couples.
