Harry Potter and Lord Of The Rings nominated for Children's Baftas


Harry Potter and Lord Of The Rings will battle it out for Best Feature Film at the children's equivalent of the Bafta Awards.

The annual awards are due to take place tomorrow night.

Monsters Inc and Stuart Little 2 have also been nominated for Best Feature Film at the awards which will be hosted by Richard Blackwood.

In the entertainment category SMTV Live is nominated for a third year running alongside sister show CDUK.

A new "interactive" category has been added to the list of honours up for grabs at the Baftas to recognise the latest change influencing children's programming - as well as a prize for the best writer.

A host of celebrities from the worlds of TV, film and sport are expected to attend the ceremony.
