Chris Columbus Pulls Out Of The Third Harry Potter Film

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001) movie maker Chris Columbus has pulled out of the third film about the boy wizard.
After wrapping the second installment of the movie series - Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002) - which is due to hit cinema screens in November (2002), Columbus has told producers he's tired of living in England wants to quit and return with his family to America.

And studio bosses have already penned in a possible
replacement to helm Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004), due for release in 2004, albeit an unusual one - they want Mexican movie maker Alfonso Cuaron to take over.
According to movie sources producers are currently in talks
with Cuaron - who made acclaimed 2001 flick Y tu mamá también (2001).
