The first Lord Of The Rings film has topped the nominations for
this year's MTV Movie Awards.
Lord Of The Rings: The Fellowship Of The Ring (2001) is in the
running in six categories, followed by Fast and the Furious, The (2001) and Rush Hour 2 (2001), which each picked up five nods.
Other nominees include Moulin Rouge (2001) and Shrek (2001) (four each); Knight's Tale, A (2001), Legally Blonde (2001) and Pearl Harbor (2001) (three each); and
American Pie 2 (2001), Black Hawk Down (2002) and Tomb Raider (2001) (two each).

The winners will be announced in Los Angeles on 1 June (02).
