Elizabeth Hurley will reportedly ask ex-lover Hugh Grant, Elton John and Patsy Kensit to be Godparents of her newly born child.

The actress, who gave birth to her first child, Damian Charles, last Thursday (04th April 2002), apparently wants to secure the three stars, as well as British castle owner Henry Dent-Brocklehurst, into a formal relationship with her son.

Hurley, who is currently recovering from the caesarian birth at Sir Elton's Windsor, England mansion, is no longer with the man she claims to be Damian's natural father, American movie producer Stephen Bing, who has thrown doubt onto the parentage of the child.

Sir Elton's spokesperson says of the prospect of being Godparent, "It's something Elton would be happy to consider I'm sure. He and Liz have a very close relationship. "

Actor Grant, who Hurley dated for 13 years, has already played a key role in Hurley's pregnancy, and the Austin Powers - International Man of Mystery (1997) actress acts as a Godparent herself to offspring of both Kensit and Dent- Brocklehurst.
