Johnny Depp: I Don't Want To Be Famous
Hollywood rebel JOHNNY DEPP insists he's made every effort to avoid fame - even though he pursued and launched a successful acting career. The BLOW (2001) star, who has a daughter with French singer VANESSA PARADIS, is adamant he despises everything associated with fame - so much so, that he claims he's done everything in his power to stay out of the public eye.
He says, "I'm shy, paranoid, whatever word you want to use. I hate fame. I've done everything to avoid it. I can't even use the word 'fame' in the same sentence as my name. I prefer to say I'm known. "
