Russell Crowe's latest movie Beautiful Mind, a (2001), dominated the Golden Globes by winning four prestigious awards, including Best Film Drama and Best Actor for Auzzie native, Russell Crowe.

Other winners included Moulin Rouge (2001), scooping Best Actress for a musical/comedy with Nicole Kidman, who lost out to Sissy Spacek, star of In the Bedroom (2001), who claimed Best Actress award.

Best Film Director - Robert Altman for Gosford Park (2002)

Beautiful Mind, A (2001) is predicted to equal its Globe success at the forthcoming Oscars ceremony.
