Beautiful actress, Winona Ryder stands accused of grand theft, following her arrest last December (2001). She was caught with seventeen items amounting to thousands of dollars, outside a Beverly Hills store.

Unauthorized prescription drugs were also found on the star, who denied intent to steel. Winona claims she had every intention of paying for the goods she possessed, but had moved from store to store mistakenly.

Now, her trial has adjourned until 11th February, Winona is now claiming cigarettes are to blame - she simply went outside the store to have a smoke.
