Sexy teen singer Britney Spears has caused commotion with the screening of her forthcoming movie Crossroads (2002), in which she plays a dorky teenager who rebels.

Within the first five minutes of the film, the young star is shown dancing around her bedroom in a t-shirt and knickers, singing into a hairbrush.

Other scenes entail Spears' character loosing her virginity, and sleeping with her on-screen boyfriend.

Crossroads will be on general release in the UK in March, US in February. After the press screening of Crossroads (2002), praise was prevalent. One journalist was quoted saying "Britney Rules".
