Hollywood actor GEORGE CLOONEY has been left to search for his new leading lady, after learning that NICOLE KIDMAN will not be starring alongside him in his next project. Reports had recently emerged that the hunky screen star would direct sexy redhead Kidman in his new movie CONFESSION OF A DANGEROUS MIND, with shooting to start this month (SEP01).

But Kidman's representative says she was never set for the movie and won't be making it. Only Clooney is currently set for the project, though SAM ROCKWELL is negotiating to be leading man. At the moment, the start date for the film, based on the autobiographical book by game-show veteran CHUCK BARRIS, is yet to be set. (RGS/LA/ES)
