Woody Allen: "I Will Not Give Up On New York"

WOODY ALLEN has vowed never to leave his beloved New York despite the recent terrorist attacks. The SWEET AND LOWDOWN (1999) director said he could see why terrorists had targeted the city because the Big Apple has always been the first and the fastest city in the world.

He explained, "I have not lost my composure. I feel like a great warrior who has been hit - but pulls himself together and wins the fight in the end. "

Actor Woody thinks that Americans have acted too carefree for too long. He says, "We knew that terrorism had to hit America some time. But we were stunned about the obvious irrationality of the attacks. " (JLM/WNWCAN/ES)
