Actress LAURA DERN has put her acting career on hold so she can take care of her sick baby ELLERY WALKER. The jURASSIC PARK (1993) star gave birth to boyfriend BEN HARPER's kid prematurely on 20 August (01), and now the little one is suffering from severe digestive problems - leading his worried mum to plot a series of vigils both in and out of the hospital.

The 34-year-old actress and her rock star lover were forced to take baby Ellery back to hospital after he started throwing up his milk. Dern, supported by her mum, DIANE LADD and Harper's mother ELLEN have been keeping a constant vigil to make sure Ellery makes it. (KL/NE/IG)
