JENNIFER ANISTON's FRIENDS character RACHEL GREEN is definitely pregnant - and the father will play a leading role in the hit show. The last season of the sitcom ended with a cliff hanger suggesting Rachel and COURTENEY COX ARQUETTE's character MONICA were with child.

And audience members who have just watched the taping of the next series premiere confirm that it is in fact Rachel - not Monica - who is expecting.
