GEORGE CLOONEY is being lined up to play a gay man in American sitcom WILL AND GRACE, according to one of the cast members.

The hit show centres around gay character WILL TRUMAN, played by ERIC McCORMACK, and his female flatmate GRACE ADLER, played by DEBRA MESSING.

And now Hollywood hunk Clooney is being tipped to play Will's new boyfriend. Eric says of the reports, "I'm sworn to secrecy about that but, yes, someone in that department is coming in. "

On the prospect of puckering up to the star, he jokes, "I don't have a problem with a screen kiss, it's only acting. I guess George or BRAD PITT would do!" (IG/NO/KW)
