KATE WINSLET is being wooed to play MOTHER TERESA in a film about the Catholic nun's life.

Director RAJIV NATH is planning a full-length feature film set in India and has asked some of his friends in Europe to get in touch with Kate.

The film will target an international audience and feature some real-life characters including former West Bengal Chief Minister JYOTI BASU. Rajiv reports that the Catholic Youth Movement had shown interest in funding the venture. (KW/WNWCAN)
