Kylie Puts A Smile On Nicole Kidman's Face
KYLIE MINOGUE is helping fellow Australian NICOLE KIDMAN cope with the upset of her split from TOM CRUISE - and Kidman appears delighted with her support.
Fellow antipodean Minogue has herself been through a string of high profile relationship break-ups with stars including JASON DONOVAN and MICHAEL HUTCHENCE.
And the diminutive actress-turned-singer, who has a small role in Kidman's new movie MOULIN ROUGE (2001), was delighted to offer her pal support at the Los Angeles premiere last night (16MAY01).
An onlooker says, "Nicole was struggling to keep a smile on her face, and was literally clinging to director BAZ LUHRMANN's fingers as they walked the red carpet. "But when she saw Kylie she really perked up. They looked bizarre hugging each other because Kylie's so tiny and Nicole's so tall but they had a really long hug and then started screeching with laughter.
