Movie Strike Could Be Great For Indie Films

The proposed Hollywood writers and actors strike is set to be a boom time for independent film makers. Independent film companies are set to be given a waiver which will allow them to work on throughout the action. Whereas Hollywood will come to a standstill if the strike goes ahead, independent movie makers are hoping union bosses will allow them to continue.

SWINGERS writer and star JON FAVREAU says, "We're still awaiting a decision but it looks good. It could be a great summer for those of us who like making small, quality movies." (KL/WN/ES)
