Benjamin Walked Out On Julia
BENJAMIN BRATT snubbed his girlfriend JULIA ROBERTS when they first met.
The LAW AND ORDER star was lunching with friends in a restaurant, when a waiter approached him saying "Julia Roberts would like to buy you a drink."
Surprised Benjamin says, "I thought one of my friends was playing a joke on me, so I walked out without saying a word to her." The next day, the MISS CONGENIALITY (2000) hunk regretted his hasty exit and wrote the OSCAR-winning actress a note to patch things up. He adds, "The rest is history." (ES/WNWC/KW)
