OCEAN'S 11 (2001) star MATT DAMON has been dodging the bullets off set as well as on.

The hunky actor, currently filming the action-packed Rat Pack flick remake, got the shock of his life on a Las Vegas golf course while taking a break from work - when gun shots rang out near him.

Matt, who was enjoying a game with JOHN LODGE, of 60's rockers THE MOODY BLUES, scrambled into the bushes before making a run for it. Cops immediately searched the area, but the mystery gun man escaped. (KW/NE/ES)
