Bruce Willis To Play Private Detective

Movie hunk BRUCE WILLIS is set to star in a new detective drama.

WARNER BROTHERS has bought the rights to CROSS CHECK, which it plans to develop as a film for Willis. He will play a detective who gets into trouble while in Canada.

There's no word yet on who will direct the film or when it's likely to begin production. Willis is currently at work on HART'S WAR, and is then expected to move on to MAN OF WAR (2002), a drama about a rescue mission by a special operations unit in Africa. (RP/WNWCAN/KMW)
