British actress ELIZABETH HURLEY's hoping FRIENDS actor MATTHEW PERRY will be better soon - so he can get back to work on their movie Servicing Sara (2001) .

Hurley and Perry were filming their latest movie in Austin, Texas when the drug troubled actor admitted himself into a rehabilitation clinic, reportedly to fight an addiction to vicodin, cocaine and methadone.

But while Hurley's hoping he's back on set soon to finish up where he left off, she realises the major priority is getting him well again. She says, "I wasn't really aware of anything, he seemed fine to me so it was a shock. "I haven't heard a peep out of him since he left, which hopefully means he's resting. For the film's sake you want him back as soon as possible, for his sake you just hope he's in a safe place." (SVD/WNV/RP)
