The new owner of a British nightclub can't wait to meet the ghost of Hollywood legend CARY GRANT.

The I WAS A MALE WAR BRIDE star once tried to buy the building in Brighton, Sussex, England, and is now said to haunt it. His ghost allegedly first appeared to the present owners about 18 months after his death in Iowa in November 1986. Former owner DI GOODCHILD, who ran the ROTTINGDEAN CLUB with her husband DON, says, "He's not the frightening sort of ghost at all. He's a lovely warm presence."

JO PRATT, the new owner, adds, "I was told about the ghost, and I can't wait to meet him. "If a place has a ghost you can't get better than the ghost of Cary Grant." (PDD/WNWCAN/LEB)
