Gang Film Cast Capitalise On Their Criminal Know-How

The cast of new movie GANGS OF NEW YORK could turn to a life of crime if their acting careers finish, says the film's scriptwriter.

KENNETH LONERGAN says Irish hunk DANIEL DAY-LEWIS has learned how to throw a knife well enough to cut a man's forehead for his role as BILL "THE BUTCHER" POOLE in the MARTIN SCORSESE-directed movie.

Meanwhile CHARLIE'S ANGELS beauty CAMERON DIAZ, who stars opposite LEONARDO DiCAPRIO, is now an expert pick-pocket. (RP/WNWCAN/CPT)
