Four Days

An assemblage of top Hollywood "power brokers" flew to Havana last week to participate in a four-day cultural exchange that included a five-and-a-half-hour meeting with Fidel Castro, the online entertainment magazine Inside reported today (Wednesday).

Among those attending the meeting with the Cuban leader were producers Brad Grey and Brian Grazer, CBS-TV President Les Moonves, MTV CEO Tom Freston, MTV President Bill Roedy, William Morris President and Co-CEO Jim Wiatt and Vanity Fair editor Graydon Carter. Inside indicated that little if anything of substance was discussed with Castro at the marathon meeting -- something that was conspicuous in this reported exchange between the Cuban leader and Imagine Entertainment's Grazer: Castro: "How do you get your hair to stand up that way?" Grazer: "I've always had this kind of haircut."
