Geena Davis: Hollywood Is Still Sexist

Screen beauty GEENA DAVIS was disappointed with the outcome of hit movie THELMA AND LOUISE - because it didn't change Hollywood's sexist attitude towards women.

The actress had hoped the success of the film would have led to movie bosses giving women stronger characters and more lead roles. She says, "Nothing has changed since. People think it has but it hasn't. We're still accepting parts as girlfriend of... wife of... villain against... People come up to me all the time and say, 'aren't you proud that you helped change the system?' You know what my answer is? I haven't changed the system." (ES/WNS/RP)
