Aussie Film Critic Walks Out Of Hannibal

An Australian film critic has admitted that he was unable to watch all of the new film Hannibal, which opens in the U.S. on Friday Saying that the sequel to Silence of the Lambs "makes its predecessor look like The Sound of Music in comparison, Lynden Barber, film writer for News Corp-owned The Australian said in today's (Friday) editions: "The scene, in which a legal official played by Ray Liotta is drugged and then has his skull removed in preparation for a cannibalistic banquet, is so nauseating that I blinked in disbelief before walking out of the cinema -- the first time in my career as a film writer that I have been literally unable to stomach a film."
