GOLDIE HAWN and KURT RUSSELL have been mending the cracks in their reportedly troubled relationship - with a holiday in Mexico.

The Hollywood couple, who have been together for 18 years, have flown to the country's west coast to reignite the romance. And according to eyewitnesses it's working and the pair are acting more like honeymooners than live in lovers with problems.

A pal at the LITTLE UNKNOWN HOTEL (corr) says, "Every time Goldie and Kurt came out of their room, they were holding hands whispering and sharing laughs. "They wore baggy shorts and flip flops and took turns rubbing sun cream on each other's bodies. It was obvious they're in love."

Friends say it was the wedding of Hawn's Golden Globe-winning daughter KATE HUDSON to rocker CHRIS ROBINSON that helped mend the rifts in their relationship. The insider explains, "Goldie and Kurt eventually realised that the pair were really in love. They gave their blessing." (MB/TS/PDD)
