MICHAEL DOUGLAS keeps coming home to find his wife and son sitting in complete silence in the dark - but CATHERINE ZETA JONES insists there's nothing wrong.

The Welsh actress says despite her longings for the bright lights of Hollywood she really enjoys being quiet and still, and loves being on her own to fully relax. She says, "I like quiet. I have this weird thing. I don't realise that it's gone dark outside. Michael will come back home and say, `There's nothing on here, there are no lights, no TV, no music, no nothing. Are you OK?'
