Bradley Cooper reportedly offered Barry Gibb role in Bee Gees biopic.

Bradley Cooper has reportedly been asked to star as Barry Gibb in the upcoming Bee Gees musical biopic currently in development.

Gibb and his brothers, twins Maurice and Robin, formed the musical trio in the 1960s after arriving in London from Australia. From there, the Bee Gees scored their first #1 hit in 1967 and played a massive part in the rise of the popularity of disco with hits like "Saturday Night Fever", "How Deep Is Your Love", "More Than A Woman", "Tragedy", "Night Fever" and more.

Cooper, who is preparing to direct and star in a biopic of celebrated composer Leonard Bernstein, has apparently been approached for the role of the eldest of the singing Gibb brothers in a production being developed by Bohemian Rhapsody's Graham King. Steven Spielberg's Amblin Entertainment is also listed among the film's producers.
