Frozen 2 On Track To Beat Thanksgiving Box Office Record.

Disney's "Frozen 2" is continuing to dominate the Thanksgiving box office with an estimated $128 million through the five-day weekend.

As the sequel approaches $292 million by the end of Sunday, it will bring in approximately 37% more than the 5-day Thanksgiving opening of the original "Frozen". At its current pace, "Frozen II" should pass its predecessor’s $400 million domestic total well before its main December competition hits theaters, starting with "Jumanji: The Next Level" on Dec. 13.

Starring Idina Menzel as Elsa, Kristen Bell as Anna, Jonathan Groff as Kristoff, and Josh Gad as fan-favorite Olaf, Frozen 2 picks up not long after the last film, with Elsa more comfortable with her role as queen. The story follows these characters as they embark on a new journey to find real answers about the origin of Elsa's powers, while trying to protect the kingdom of Arendelle from more trouble.
